Pong’s first publicity stunt

So I get this text from Loki’s (the viszla) owner that Pong is famous. She (Loki’s slave) recently received a mailer from Your Dog is Worth it Too Day with lo and behold, Pong’s picture on the inside flap:
It’s a little distorted since it looks like it was printed off a non-commercial printer. Here’s the original picture:
She is also part of the slideshow on their website. Ain’t it neat? Pong’s famous now! Here’s how excited she was when she heard the news:
“yah. I know I’m awesome. Now let me go back to sleep”

So Pong Pong got a new sister recently and it hasn’t always been candy and roses. But when they do get along, it’s pretty cute.

Yesterday, it started snowing so I took Pong out to the porch to check out the snow.

Then after a tiring vet visit (will post about it in a new post), we headed to the dog park at 7pm.

She ran away from me when we were heading back to the car after the dog park. She ran and ran and ran… but always kept me in sight. I knew she would come back eventually so I just waited. After another car with 3 dogs came, I decided it was time to chase her back to the dog park and get her from there. After much taunting she went in the dog park and the 3 dogs came out. She went up and down the fence like a nut.. and then pooped out after a good 10 minutes of running. She stared at me like ‘uh, mom. HOME. NOW.’
